    ++ to what everyone has said but I will add - when my dwarf gourami gets constipated, THAT's what he looks like. Feed him a cooked shelled pea (works as a laxative) and try to cut down on his food. If he won't eat the pea, you might fast the tank for 2 - 3 days so he's not getting clogged even more.
