PH testing device
Does anyone out there have a ph meter? I find myself testing for ph because it verges on hi in my area so I got a meter but am afraid of it!lol! I got an HM digital ph meter which also does temperature. I thought it was easy but looks like I eventually have to have a wetting fluid as well as a calibrating powder???? Plus I'm sure you must get a sample in a container to immerse it in and not stick it into the tank since it rests in chemicals---any advice? I use so much hi ph test fluid I thought it would be easier just to have a meter; maybe someone has this one?

I have a self programmed ph meter that is great. But there are plenty of ready made ones out there. All the affordable ones will require calibration using buffer fluids which are available everywhere. I'm pretty sure as long as you rinse it before you put it in tank it should be ok.
