You're making great progress. I love the wood paneling job. I think you mentioned it before, but are you painting or staining?

Thank Kevin, Yes I am going to paint it satin black. I did get the stand 100% complete today. I now have the doors mounted and all trim applied. Just need to fill a few dozen nail holes and its ready for paint.

How were you planning to finish the stand ? Sealer and paint or stain and varnish ?If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

@ CrazedMichael - I am not sure on the stocking plan or aquascape but I think some neons or cardinals will be in order. This will be a fully planted tank.

Looks like I know who I'll be calling to assist in building my fish room stands (planned a 8' long 3 shelf unit) plus another stand for my 55 and maybe a large bowfront
