So the far left will be highest and sand, middle 2nd highest with ?? and right the lowest with ??

Actually there are just the 2 levels. It was far too difficult to cut the stone any narrower. The 2 rocks in the center are just going to be protruding up from the bottom. there should be about a 2 - 2-1/2" drop from the sand level to the sts level.

Will still be adding about 1.5" of sts after the plants arrive. I need to be able to take out the wood to tie the plants.

Yes I will have to mount it to slate. I also did that in my 55.
