    Wink Finally a positive post!!!!

I just wanted to take a moment to post something positive...being new to the fish keeping world most of my topics are dealing with cycling, KH/GH, diseases, compatibility, and on it goes. Today while doing a water change I found (wait for it) a baby spotted cory cat (I call them salt n pepper for some reason). You will not be able to wipe the grin off my face for days!!!! I know the days ahead may be difficult for the baby but he/she exists and I could not be happier. To steal a quote from fishmommie "when things come together it's a beautiful thing". Today, I saw beauty. Thank you all.

    Congrats on the fry
If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

Nice when you find fry in the tank, especially when you weren't expecting any. Always got a lot of enjoyment out of watching fry grow a small speck to an adult.

Congratulations! I still remember the day I first found panda Cory fry in the water change bucket...

Same here, one night while watching TV a minature Bronze Corie comes out from under the driftwood and joins the adults like it's no big deal.

Congrats! That means your water changing regimen is to their liking.

I'm trying to spawn pygmy cories. Got 3 females so loaded with eggs they can't land on a rock without keeling over but so far no luck.

it really is excitiing, my tank walls and plants have been loaded with eggs for quite some time but I never thought I would see the day I had fry. So it looks like they enjoy 50% water changes twice a week :D. I think the Oto's may be next, I have one that is quite chubby looking.

talldutchie, that must be quite a site, hope you have some fry soon!!

It's always neat to find fry swimming around in your tank, congratulations!
If it's called tourist season why can't I shoot them?
