I confess, my fishkeeping book was written in the 50's... or rather, my version was printed in the 50's and updated from a original 30's authoring. Sadly, I do not have any of the live fishfood collecting opportunities described therein, but I also worry little about coal gas.

Don't feel bad. Happens to a lot of people. I've even got a dealer here and not a small one either, who uses names that were revised 25 years ago.
