Angels and Fin Rot
So, I've suspected that a few of my angels have fin rot for a few weeks. Today, my suspicions were pretty much confirmed.
What's next? How do I treat, and what with?
Should I pull out the QT? I'm really leaning towards treating the whole tank, BUT I have a 130g so depending on the method this may or may not be possible.
I'm just worried that the bacteria is probably in the water, which would mean that the whole thing would need to be treated anyway. Esp considering the few weeks I've suspected this.130g: 4 Angelfish, 2 Roseline Sharks, 12 Conga Tetras, 5 Kuhli Loaches, 1 Otocinslus, 1 Corydora

sorry for that, hope you get your fish back on track soon!
the bacteria that cause finrot aren't really obligate parasites and exist in most aquariums. only when
a fish's immune system is compromised in some way, such as stress, a wound or dirty water, they will take the opportunity
and cause such symptoms as finrot. if the cases of finrot only are light I don't think that you would need to do much except keep
extremely clean water (with a bit of salt) until it subsides. you probably would want to put affected angels in a smaller tank because frequent and large water changes
on a 130 gallon probably won't be very practical.

That seems like a simpler solution than I had predicted. I'm glad I have you guys.
Okay, sounds good.130g: 4 Angelfish, 2 Roseline Sharks, 12 Conga Tetras, 5 Kuhli Loaches, 1 Otocinslus, 1 Corydora
