Normal for fish stores to sell shrimp $10-$25?

I have purchased them at this price, but I prefer to get red cherries for $2.50 instead. Just curious if I am the only one. I'm happy with getting big red nosed shrimp for $4-5, but I don't know if small crystal bees are worth $10 and up.

Really depends on where you are located. Store prices are usually high, compared to prices you'd get shrimp at from others in the hobby. Your best source of shrimp is probably a local fish club if you have one near by. Red cherry shrimp go for around a $1 each in most of the clubs. The other shrimp will vary in prices. $10 for a crystal bee shrimp is too much.

Yep, I live in North America /; Texas to be exact... How much are crystal bees worth where you are? The black crystal bees over here are $15.

Also depends on quality. Really high grade Crystal reds can go for $50-150 each

You can get a lot of pricing variances based only on were you live

I live ~350 miles north of Montanan so the shipping costs increase prices a lot. Depending on the exact type of shrimp, I have seen them range from $10 to $20 each.
