am looking to buy a 10 gallon tank.
I don't want to buy a heater.

Guppies?

What filtration are you planning on getting for the tank? Also do you plan on cycling your tank without fish before adding them in? That would be my recommendation to make it as easy as possible on both you and the fish.
I don't believe guppies are cold water fish, but White Cloud Mountain Minnows are and I think they are awesome looking.~Manna

i am gonna return the goldfish.
would you say the tank is cycled since the goldfish is alive.
i will test and see if the tank is cycled when and if i get it.
i don't know what type of filter it is, what do you guys think it is?
the seller doesn't know.
i don't like the minnows.
what about 5 gold barbs.
a little overstocked but with high matinince i think i could pull it off

Lightly stocked is the way to go. Less maintenance and more success. Maybe skip the 10 gal idea and go for a larger tank.

I would not assume the tank is cycled just because there is a living fish in it. Also, if there is a lapse in time between when you rehome the goldfish and add the new fish your BB could die off. The only way to determine if it is cycled is by testing the water parameters with a master test kit.
It looks like a HOB filter in the picture. My guess is that it was probably a kit and the filter came with it. If the kits there are anything like the kits here, then the filter is probably rated for a 10 gallon tank. If that's the case you would be best to buy a new filter rated for a 20 or 30 gallon tank so that you have adequate filtration, especially if you plan on stocking heavily.
As far as other cold water fish and how many of them you can stock, I'll let someone who has more experience in that department weigh in on that.~Manna

Yikes! Poor goldfish.
130g: 7 Angelfish, 1 Bolivian, 17 Neon Tetras, 14 Serpae Tetras, 9 Kuhli Loaches, 1 Otocinslus, ? Ghost Shrimp
I've noticed that people HATE it when you point out how stupid they are, so now I try to do it politely.

I don't think that's a 10g tank....that looks much bigger..And why is it only halfway filled with yellow water? Whole thing seems strange.
