replacement for fish
hello guys,
20 gallon: 2 oto
6 neon tetra
2 platy
1 honey gounmi
the honey gourmai that i am going to return do to bullying.
i want to replace him with a similar fish.
i was thinking of a ram but they are to sensitive.
maybe a betta?
any suggestions

my water quailty is very good usually never get nitrates above 10.
PH of 7.5
weekly 25% water change with vacuming gravel
tempature at 26c

With a betta, or any other labyrinth fish, you have the opportunity to run into the same problems as with the honey gourami, which is generally one of he smallest and most peaceful of the anabantids.

Some people have more luck with Pearl Gouramis being less nippy and aggressive, but they are still a gourami and prone to that, especially in smaller tanks and environments.
You would probably be better off boosting your neons and/or your platies. If you have any driftwood, you could do a smaller pleco, like a clown pleco. In a tank that size, doing a small group of cherry barbs could look nice.

From my understanding cardinal tetra and neons school.
What about 1 more platy and 6 cardinals

a 4-5 inch pearl in a 20 gallon? I'd say minimum tank size for pearl would be double that.
