40 Years of Fish Keeping!
Hello fellow fish keepers!
I started keeping fish in my early teens... nearly 40 years ago. Since then, I've almost always had at least one tank running, sometimes many more. I've had several fish for over 10 years, my oldest is a lohachata botia Yo Yo loach, who I still have and is soon to pass 20 years of age! (he/she may have already)
I look forward to meeting all of you, and discussing all things fish.

If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

Hello and welcome.
Brutal honesty will be shown on this screen
I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.
Smaug, you're here a lot just to say it's a waste of your time, poor baby, I bet you don't even know how big a loser you are, and how much we laugh at you and your foolish attempt to give your life meaning. Quit drinking, get a life, go take care of your family, grow up!

Welcome to the forum! Glad to have your experience here!
Loaches as a species tend to have very long lives when taken care of correctly. I think I read somewhere that Shedd's Aquarium has had one on display since 1938! What an incredible fish loaches are.Money can't buy happiness, but it sure can pay the rent.
