My tank is in my signature, the fish are all kind of small no more older than 2 years and is fine now i believe but how will it be when they reach full size as the serverum, angel fish and rainbows will get alot bigger. I will be buyng a seconday tank but havent decided when i would need it.

Also my firemouth wil be rehomed soon.

    Thank you!

I should also note that the barbs and rainbows are near enough 1 year old so still not their full size.

i don't believe you are overstocked.

but this is the assumption that your filtration is rated for 200gallons and 1000gal/hr turn over.
    what is your filtration specs?

doesnt seem over stocked but i do see a problem... multiple gourami is bad idea, with the angels even worst.... and i think the fire mouth would dig up your plants...

In a tank that size, it seems like you're okay, but you may come across problems between fish rather than problems related to the number of fish.

As the rest said, not overstocked in numbers but firemouth, gourami and angels are a potentially volatile mixture. You just need to keep an eye on things.

thank you for all the comments!

I will be re-homing the Firemouth, although he is fine with all the fish he does have squabbles sometimes with the rainbows but they are rare and never turn out in aggressive fights otherwise hes very mellow.

and the gouramis well one is new so i cannot speak for her in the long run but theyve been fine up to now but i know they are known to be aggressive especially the males. I dont really get any chasing in my aquarium only by the breeding chiclids which is normal.

Ive also kept drawf gouramis with angel fish and had good results so im not sure.

I was thinking of upping the school of black phantoms as theyve decreased in a few over the 2 years.
Then i will upgrade my external filters and maybe replace my firemouth or leave the tank as it is after the firemouth is re-homed.
