When do angel fish reach full size?

Ive just read somewhere that if a angel fish is proper kept and nurished it should be full size at max one year.

I have had a angel fish for minimum 1 year and 6 months and it is not full size.

Is this information wrong or have i mal nurished my angel fish in the early days.

Not in my experience, 'Sexual maturity' yes [Easily less than a year] - 'Full size' .. No. [Disclaimer: I have never been trying to grow them like weeds.]

Please post a link to the source where you just saw that. I'd be interested to see what else they have to say.

I thought that, ive been researching angel fish and have saw it takes that long to grow there sexual tubes.

How long in your experience does it take to reach full size i thought it wouldve been much longer before researching as i know severums have got the same life span but they are slow growers anyway

EDIT: BTW, That first reply refers to sexual maturity not 'full grown'. I infer that they imply that the ability to spawn = adulthood = 'fully grown' & this is not the case.

Ye i agree as said i did see other inforation on other sites but i like to keep my research wide also yahoo sometimes has okay answers rarely but i guess there always more help than you who dismisses i asked them a question HEY

Yahoo both on and off the computer. When you increase your knowledge you will understand why yahoo isn't the place to go for fish information, ever. Fish continue to grow through out their lifetimes. Most of the growth will be in the first 1 or 2 years, depending on the species, but most will continue to grow slowly for their entire lives.

well i belive when reseaching itd best knowing all you can if that is the useless stuff aswell then atleast you can distinguise the crap from the truth and i dont believe yahoo is 100% crap at times ive found usefull things on their if not the same as other websites on plants and other things but as i said i agree ALOT of the things on there is crap and this is a prime example of that.
