Should I be concerned if they don't pair up? Or will they still co-exist ok, just not breed?

Might take some time to figure this out. I've had a male & female in my 75gal for a few months now. They usually hang out together, clean rocks, chase others away from their territory... and then you'll see them have a couple's spat, where the male chases the heck out of the female, or they stare at each other like they want to kill the other. It's a learning process for everyone... even them.

Should I be concerned about them hurting each other or the Harleys, or is it more "bark than bite"? They seem peaceful so far, even when feeding...

I doubt the harleys will be in their territory very frequently. I'm sure they'll be fine. My Serpae tetras show no fear and usually fend for themselves down by the substrate for any particular reason - usually food, though. The GBRs will chase them off, but won't harm them. The Serpaes are more aggressive than Harleys, though. Still, you won't have a prob.

As for themselves... only time will tell. If there's only the two of them, and you're sure they're male & female, I bet they'll be fine.

Good to know! I am 95% sure they are boy and girl. One has extended rays on the top fin, no blue in the black spot, and faint gray on the lower fins. The other has even rays on top, blue dots in the black spot, black on the lower fins, and a pinkish belly.

I took some pics today. Hopefully tomorrow I will get a chance to look thru them and upload the better ones...

Quick question... any suggestions on foods? I want to make sure these guys have a good diet.

GBRs, like any other fish, enjoy a variety. Mine will eat different kinds of flakes and pellets. I bought the smaller cichlid pellets for them, and they seem to enjoy them. They do go after the larger pellets, as well, though. They also pick at algae wafers and will eat peas. I'm not big on the frozen foods... but I've fed them freeze dried blood worms & tubifex worms, as well.
