    Default Taking good photos of cichlids

    I want to see if anyone has any tips for taking great photos of cichlids. I want to post some on here and my website, and I don't have much experience...
    Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

    I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.

    Couple good tips just off the cuff:

    1. Always clean your glass before taking pictures. Seems obvious but a lot of people forget and you can see smudges, fingerprints, or hard water marks ruining a good picture.
    2. Always use a tripod.
    3. Keep your tank lights on and turn all of the lights in the room off. Works best at night, no glare on the glass, and the tank is lit up perfectly.
    Money can't buy happiness, but it sure can pay the rent.
