    Angry Aqua Clear 110 Noise

    My AC110 is loud and just now cut off and stopped working i took it apart and cleaned the impeller and put it back on and its noisier than before. What are some ways to fix this problem. I would just buy another one bu i recently just lost my wallet so i cant do that. I dont want this thing to go out again when im not here killing my BB So how can i do a quick fix to it ?

    Did you also clean the recess the impeller sits in?, Are both the bushings in place? Is your sponge clean? There's not a whole lot to an AC so I am at a bit of a loss..

    I took the impeller part off and cleaned the magnet and the plastic part cleaned the inside to where the magnet sits and just put it back together. Sponge may not be clean but should that even matter to it sounding like it sounds when its priming the water ? Ive heard of oiling dwn with silicone grease or something like that dwn the shaft thing where the magnet goes so it will be smooth but at the time i dont have any, could i use the oil used for hair clipper blade oil ?

    No.
    Take it apart, clean it again, and carefully put it back together again and see if it helps. You may not have set the impeller correctly.

    Clean sponges never hurt, No matter what else is going on.

    No. Absolutely not. BTW - I would replace the impeller before replacing the entire thing.
