300 gallon rubermaid pond
getting one cheap on CL, and was thinking either indoor red ear slider pond or outside koi pond. question??? will an underwater filter be good enough or adding a few sponge filters will be better. If a koi pond will the 300 gallon hold 5 koi descently. I live in NC, will the koi be ok in my winter. I will need to study up more but i figured these are the basics ATM
thanks

I don't think a 300 gallon would be deep enough to escape the cold from the winter... what are you're typical low temps there...

maybe 10 nights out of the whole year it gets to the teens, but mostly 30-40 degrees. I wanted to do this as like a coffee table to the fish room but the may over kill with the hmidity since i havea 120, 100, 75, 55 and four 20 Longs. With a chance of a 125 t0 300 gallon somtime over the summer
