Question regarding flow rates and overflows
Hi All~ Still looking for the next project. I do have a promising lead on a 120g 48x24x24 all glass with dual overflows, stand and sump. Needs a return pump though. I am waiting for additional details but how does one determine the appropriate size pump for the sump?

The answer to that can depend on a whole lot of other factors
The below two links should be able to help tho

LOL, that's actually the SW blog which is a part of this forum
Are you going to be setting up a marine tank, or a fresh water tank ? I think you might have mentioned that before, but I can not remember for the life of me. But then again,... I can't remember what I had for breakfast right now either. If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

Haha - SW has crossed my mind but I will likely stick with freshwater.
