    It is like carbon. But it can be recharged. Looks like good stuff and, I dont believe it affects meds.

    I love Purigen, makes the tank crystal clear but just like carbon & uv sterilizers it should be removed if medicating.

    Huh, I've never heard of it. I may have to check it out sometime.

    Also -- I def agree that carbon isn't really needed for anything other than getting rid of the remnants of meds. I just LOVE the clarity though. It doesn't hurt the tank so why not?

    I'm currently uploading a video of the tank to youtube. Hopefully it will be finished tonight.
