I haven't seen any egg laying or anything. I mostly see little squabbles between them all. Nothing that worries me, but I'm not seeing any love. Lol.

Have you tried playing "In The Jungle" in the room where the tank is?

Hahaha! I know it's not originally from this movie, but the Lion King is my fav!

To tell you the truth I don't mind no babies or eggs. I hadn't really planned on keeping babies anyway.

On another note I visited a different LFS the other day to find that they were selling Altum Angels like mine, same size and stuff for $50.... HOLY COW! Maybe I should breed them.... Haha!

Haha you'll probably spend more money on food and housing than you'll make selling them. Maybe not though if you have several successful batches that sell well.

Hey everyone! I'm still alive. I promise. :)

My computer has been down for a month or so, and we just got her up and running again.

My fish are doing pretty good. Nothing real major has happened since I last updated. I did lose one Danio and one Serpae last week. Not sure why, but the tank chemistry all seems to be on the up and up so I'm not too worried about it.

I am dying to take the moss tree out off there. I have decided that it really just messes up the naturalness of the tank. As soon as I have some room in my budget (probably not happening this year) I'll be doing some rescaping in there.

My pregnancy is going good. I'm 14 weeks now. Pretty much ALL of our money is going towards building a new bedroom at the moment -- hence no budget room.

So I've probably just killed about half of my fish.....

During my W/C a sec ago I felt my water temp and thought it was a smidge too cold. I turned it up a bit and let it go. The temp has been running between 73 and 75 lately because of the weather change here.

I got caught up with a conversation on the computer and realized a few mintues later that I left the tank running. I ran in the living room to find the tank overflowing into the floor. ( I think I caught it pretty quick though) I then checked the temp and it was up to 83!!!

Now I realize that that is not really far off from where it should be, but that's a HUGE jump from the low 70's.... GREAT...

Oh dear, sorry to hear that Mandy. You might be ok. Fish can experience jumps like that when swimming from deep to shallow water. Fingers crossed for you.
