We all make mistakes.
Look at it this way: You now have knowledge and experience you didn't previously have. Your surviving stock as well as future stock will benefit as a result.
And so will you.
Your sharing this will benefit others on this board.
You've done a lot of good, here.20 gal. high: planted; 1 zebra danio, 6 glofish, several snails, 2 (visible) RCS; AC50, Azoo air. 65 gal: planted; 4 rosy barbs, 6 glofish, 5 white cloud minnows, 3 zebra danios, 5 dojo loaches, several snails; AC110 x 2.

@850R- yeah I suck at math. I will be measure all of my dosing from now on. This way I will make it a habit and also save $ on Prime. Thanks
@mermaidwannabe- thanks for the kind words. It was just such a big mistake that could have been avoided but We are only human.
Good news= Tank reading are back to normal. 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, 5-10 nitrate.
Bad news= only 5 shrimp survived. I moved them to another tank to give them a new beginning. Not sure if the assassin snailes made it. I found 6 empty shells. I am hoping some did and are just hiding out under the substrate.
Thanks everyone for your support. Lesson learned.Roll the Dice!

Man that sucks. Think everyone has done that before, think I've done it more than once sadly. What works for me now is I try to do water changes the same every time. I put the dechlor right by the tap where I'm filling the buckets so I can't forget. Wiped out a tank before and well after that you just learn to be careful. Have a lot of sensitive species in small tanks so can't take any chances anymore. It's probably easier in some parts of the country where you can just smell chlorine in the water.

i actually emailed seachem because i overdosed prime by 12x,
they said over 5x it kills oxygen and can kill livestock.
so it can be because of the overdose on prime.
