    Hi guys,

So previously the 3 tanks where split as such:

Tank A: 4 Angels (1 male, 3 females), 4 loaches, 1 pleco, 1 pseudo albino convict chiclid (all three female, from same batch, one in each tank), dwarf glassfish, albino corys (used to be 5, lost 2 when i rented new house).

Tank B: 3 loaches, 1 pleco, 1 pseudo albino convict chiclid, 5 head and tail lights, rainbow shark (was a black and red fin sharky, died after 3years, replaced now with a new albino shark approx 2inches now), 2 pandas+2 salt'n'pepper+1 copper cory, 5 albino columbians (i think) tetra, 3 penguin tetras, 3 dwarf glass fish

Tank C: 10 columbian tetras, 1 zebra grey and silver convict chiclid, 2 fancy guppies

Added them all together, and added the 8 danios + albino rainbow shark (new). As mentioned, the angels are 1male 3female, the chiclids are all 3 sisters, i think the pleco's are one male one female based on size as they where from same batch and big size difference.

The 3 chiclids are always together so are the 4 angles, the corys mostly group together on the substrate and all the tetras kinda school together with the dwarf glassfish... pleco and loaches mainly roaming when the lights go out....

PS: im not a troll, i am a fellow fish hobyist trying to learn as much as i can, allready had steep learning curve.... only 2 pet shops in my area and they are ran by ppl not to clued up i think on the freshies... they have major marine collections etc.

how long have you had the angels? eventually they should pair off... when that happens the other 2 females will be out casts.

if you can seperate all the convicts again. a tank of convicts would be better than sticking them in a community tank.

basically the convicts, shark and angels are the big problem. with the extra tank you can keep all but the shark. maybe you can put one of the extra angels and the shark in one tank as well...

steep learning curves can be over come if you are willing to try XD. that tank looks nice, are those live plants?

Im glad you are willing to learn, the changes mommy proposed need to take place asap. Yes its a PITA when there seems like nothing wrong BUT trust us, things can go horrible overnight and you will end up with 10 fish missing eyes.

The biggest lesson to be learned, if you know the fish shops are terrible, is to do the research and ask before you go there. walk in with an objective and NEVER buy a fish you havnt researched. It usually ends bad.

example, i went to a lfs and saw some jewel cichlids... love the look... people tell me they are great community fish... did some research found out they were as bad if not worst than convicts... if i didnt have my phone with me i would have ended up with a bad situation XD

Same thing I've always heard about the Jewels. Very aggressive just like the convicts. Neither of which are good fish for a community setting.
