snapped the leg off my nova extreme light....

So i was so excited to get a brand new ac 70 today i threw it on my 55. I guess i was to ruff with the light ans the leg just snapped off. The super glue i had today stunk not sure why i think they are older than (insert old persons name here). Any ways if a new tube of glue doesnt do the trick does any one know where i can order a new set of legs? I looked quick but the legs look different than the ones i have... Im also on my phone so its hard to do good looking.

I use super glue quite often on model planes (I fly radio controlled planes). I always use an accelerator, one spray of it on the glued area, causes the glue to set up immediately.Can be bought at a hobby shop. Super glue may not be your best choice for glue. An epoxy might be better for your project (be aware of set times on epoxy). Shrimp (molly's dad) Rick Hobbs

Drsfosterandsmith has replacement legs. In the picture on the website they look different but they are the right legs. I know because I've ordered them...twice. Sigh

Try calling up the manufacturer, or look on their site if they have one. Sometimes they will send out a replacement at no cost.

The accelerator for super glue is alcohol. Specifically - Propanol.
Most any alcohol will speed up the setting though.
