Snail question

i'm thinking about adding one nerite snail to each of the ten gallon tanks.

Ten gallon tank in the living room has a mystery snail in it so i'm not worried if it can coexist with the nerite or not.

However...

The ten gallon tank in the bedroom has one assassin snail. My question is i have heard that Nerites can co exist with assassin snails, is this true? If so the nerite would be the algae eater in the ten gallon and the assassin would clean up the left over food (not that there is much of that in the ember tetra tank where the assassin lives)

Thoughts?

assassins generally don't attack snails significantly larger than they are, so a zebra or tracked nerite would likely do okay, but a horned nerite might be risky.

IME nerites and assassins are fine together.

I don't know what type of nerite Petco will be ordering for me...I know they're very hard to find around here and shipping is risky and costly.

Thanks 850R for confirming what i had read...I will wait and see what they get in, hopefully they'll be larger than my assassin which would help.

I can't wait...I figure since my tanks are small aka ten gallons, then i should be set once i add the nerite snail to each tank. If i put anymore i don't know if they'd have enough food.
