Strange platy behaviour.

So I noticed this morning that my platy is acting really strange, hovering in place and then randomly darting a short distance, it's very distressing to watch.

My tank is a ten gallon low tech planted, I don't use fertilizers yet, and I have way more sensitive fish and inverts in there than the platy so I don't think it's a water issue.

Only thing that changed was yesterday I changed my bulbs from soft white to the 50000 k daylight spectrums, and added two neon tetras to finish up my shoal. Could it be stressed from the light change or possibly neon tetra disease? Tank has been running since september with little trouble.

Should I remove her?

The change in conditions may have upset him, or you may have introduced something with the neons. Assuming your planted gives him plenty of cover if he wants it, try turning the lights off for a day to let him settle
