Well here again I learn all fish have different personalities. I remember the first time I brought him home he was trying to fit a guppy easily his size down his mouth. He ended up killing the guppy and thats when I put him in his own tank.

so heres the update on my bush fish, heres the day after i brought him home hes in QT, and for reference thats a 1" pipe behind him....
    IMAG0101_zps24d0ee9d.jpg
2 months after QT i was worried the gourami would bother him if he was under 1.5" so i let him grow and get his strength up in qt. also it took a full month to get him on pellets completely. of course he has treats

not sure when this one was, but hes about 3" in this picture if i can remember right:

hes so funny, if any one but me goes up to the tank he flips out and dashes around the tank, but if i come to the tank he just hangs out in the corner near the filter intake. i think he needs a cave or something to hide in going to make it this week. any ways if i want to see him i just rub the tank near him and he comes up to the surface, and is like "hey whats for dinner?" i measured him against my finger (known to be exactly 3" how handy is that lol) and hes about 4"
