Moving goldfish from one tank to another
I want to move two goldfish from my smaller 30 gall on tank to my larger 50 gallon one. Im confused as to the best way to do this? Can anybody give any tips

If your 50gal is already set up, just net them and put them into the new tank. Or is it more complicated than that?

+ to Andrea. If your 50 is setup and cycled unless you have a big ph difference or differing temperature from one tank to another you should be able to just move them.
Having said that, however, if I move a fish from one tank to another I usually drip acclimate them for about 45 minutes, just to make certain there aren't any unknown chemistry issues between tanks. Net and drop. Just that easy. You are moving them to the same temp and same pH. Nothing more is needed.
But depending on the kind of goldfish, the 50 might be a better option for them. Sizes of different goldfish listed below in my signature.

As said above - net & drop. If it's not cycled, move your filter(s) from the 30 to the 50 and you have an instant cycle.
