When I was cycling my first tank (about 2 months ago) I added the bio boosters like you did I also had lots of problems with the cycle. About 3 weeks in I did a 100 percent water change and completely re started with ammonia at 3 ppm. Restarting with only the right amount of pure ammonia worked wonderfully and 2 weeks later I was cycled and ready for fish. Doing the restart might bring better results then trying to mess with what you have now.

Plenty of good advice here. The first and foremost is PATIENCE! If I were you, I would drain completely, refill, and dose ammonia to 1 ppm. Wait for it to drop to 0(patience), and dose again. Keep doing this until you see nitrite(patience). Once you do, continue dosing every other day until the nitrite is 0(a lot of patience). Don't even worry about testing for Nitrate until this point. Once ammonia and nitrite hit 0 in 24 hrs or less, test the nitrate and change the water until it's 10 or less. Then you're done. Do not add mystery additives, do not pass GO, do not collect $200. Just stay the course.
11 tanks, 5.5g up to 125g(2). Mbuna, Haps, Peacocks, Tangs, wild caught to tank raised!

    so i just tested
    ammonia at 1
    nitrite 0
    nitrate 5-10

i am assuming that i could do a PWC to reduce ammonia to .25-.5
and then wait for ammonia to go to 0
    then stock

    No.

You wait to let the BB take care of it..

    patience patience patience.

you must realize you are working with at 1.5gallon tank.

the parameters will because it is so small. one little thing you do-is amplified because of the size of the tank.

hence why we recommend get the biggest tank you can fit and afford the first time. it is so so so much easier to cycle and maintain.

just be patient and wait. you need patience's and BB. they go hand in hand.

i already did a 50% water change before i read this.
the only reason i did this is because i need to put another fish in this tank
for like an hour because of problems.
i didn't want to kill the fish so i needed to lower the ammonia.
also after waiting the full 5 min i saw that ammonia was at 3.
    IT NEEDED TO BE DONE
    now ammonia is at .5

i won't stock this tank till it is fully cycled so don't worry

    Ok
I was thinking to put my bio Max from my aqua clear 20
    Into this tank.
    It is established.
Will this effect my other tank
And also will this give me an instant cycle
