leveling tank

hey everyone so I have always had small tank and just recently purchased a 90 gallon which looks sweet ill post a pic let me know what ya guys think, anyways quick question I put 1" pink panther foam between the tank and stand and tried to level the tank as best I can. after filling it up it looks like its not perfectly level its just off by a tad now should I empty the water and try to level again because im worried about stress points and this tank leaking heres a pic

The tank not being perfectly level does not stress the aquarium glass - not having uniform support along the tank base is the issue. A tank not level has no significant effect (within reason) on tank strength.

Relative to your picture, your fill level is rather high on the low end; if you need it that full, I would consider removing the water and leveling the stand. Do NOT shim the tank! The stand is what must be leveled in a manner that does not weaken its ability to carry the full tank weight in a uniform manner.

By looking at your pic, I would guess one end of your tank sits higher than the other by 1/2 to 3/4 of a inch.

I also would suggest having the tank sit level as that can place uneven pressure on the tank which is not good for it over time. As cermet already said, it is best to shim the base of the stand (between the stand and the floor). I have always used the plastic shimms that you can get at hardware stores like Home Depot which are sold to shim door and window frames

ok thanks for the replies and those shims you have in the pic I can get from any hardware store
