  1. Default 2 jaguars help

i have 1 that is about 2 inches and another that is about 5 inches, i put both together in my new tank and well the little one started attacking and being a straight up bully. the bigger one just tried to run away.

how can i get them to live together? i do have someone who will take one but id really like to keep both. and also keep my tank stocked.

atm i have a pleco and 1 of the jaguars in the tank.

What size of tank are you housing them in? Jags are mean fish and really do need large tanks.
    My therapist says I need a bigger tank . . . . .

There's the issue right there then. Two jags in a 37G won't work, even if they are just small. Unfortunately their temperment and rapid growth means you won't be able to keep them for long in tanks of those dimensions. Personally I'd say get them to your friends tank asap

You and your friend need to do a bit of research before getting fish. Males grow to 16" and females to 12". 37 gallon is not enough room for even one of these fish.

+1 you should research teh size but also the temperament. Especially with jaguars.
Finally reached 6 tanks... oh god, this addiction is getting serious. 75g mbuna tank, 65g gold severum, 55g OB peacock breeding colony, 30g(36x18) growout, 20 long Dwarf Alto's, 10g fry tank.
If I die young bury me in... An 8x2x2 with versa tops and a large sump for adequate filtration;)

my plan was to hold them there till about 7-8 inches. i'll be taking the bigger one tomorrow and keeping the 2 inch one till it is about 7 inches. friend cant take them till they get bigger

You can't make aggressive cichlids get along. They have to be divided.

I would tell your friend that unless he can get a 200 gallon tank by next spring, he should not take either of them.
But it's good you are at least getting rid of one of them now. Good job.
