I think each individual fish is different and while a 200 gallon would be awesome I think they can be happy in a smaller tank. I have an adult male jag, full size Oscar, a big green terror and two cons in a 135 gallon and everything is well. Has been for over two years. I think plants and driftwood placed strategically to break up line of sight goes a long way when housing aggressive fish.
