cory cat with puffed up eye??

just came home from work and went to feed my buddies and noticed a puffed up eye on one of my cory cats
i am very pissed because a little less than a week ago i went to petco and baught 4 cory cats 2 spotted 1 green and 1 albino within 2 days 2 died and now this poor guy has a puffed up eye
i really hate stores like this cuz i feel like they are alwayssssss selling sick fish and it b.s. it could b because i just switched to a bigger tank (from 20 to 45 g)
but all my other fish are fine
but what would cause his eye to puff up like that and how could i cure it

My first question based on the information you have given is, what are you water parameters?

Specifically the Ammonia, Nitrite, and Nitrate readings?

How long has this tank been set up and running?

Not sure about Petco, but PetSmart has a 14 day return policy. You might want to check. Buying fish from PetSmart I feel like I'm saving them. I have had to return dead fish even with ideal water conditions, some are probably so stressed out there's no turning back if you know what I mean.

yea i baught 7 fish from petco and only have 4 left they died in 5vdays and i promised my self i will never go to petco or petsmart cuz like u said i feel like i am saving them from death taking them from these stores cuz i feel like they just put the fish in tanks and dont care...i found a small pet store a little bit from where i live and the guy who owns it talked to me for like an hour about everything aquarium related and i will definately be going to him for fish cuz he actually cares about them and if he sees a disease arising he treats it until he gets it under control. doesnt have a huge fish selection but he takes orders for people and gets them delivered every monday... just a good guy that actually cares about the fish
