Holiday Preparation Question #1
I'll be away for 15 days and I have a friend coming over to look after the tanks (every other day) for me. Basic checks on debris/temperature/flow and a partial water change (skimming only, no vac) after a week.
I'm happy with the prep (and instructions I've written!) but I have one thing I'm not sure about.
I dose ferts and EasyLife EasyCarbo every morning before I go to work. I would rather not have to ask my friend to come over in the morning before she goes to work so will it work dosing it in the evening? Will the EasyCarbo evening dose be a waste of time (given the lights will go off after a few hours)? I wonder.
Thoughts?

Ah the joys of no longer having planted tanks
My therapist says I need a bigger tank . . . . .

try keeping it as simple as possible, the less things he/she has to do the less that can go wrong with a non-fish person.

Thanks for the advice (I'm aware of this but this friend is very trust-worthy so I see no problem with laying out all dosing required...it's easy enough).
Just realised I didn't really get an answer to my original question...is it worth it (or worthless) to dose EasyCarbo in the evening? Anyone know?
