    I kind of agree with this - just because you've seen setups like this doesn't mean its the right thing to do and maintaining good water quality is harder the smaller the tank is - toxins can build up quickly & kill those shrimp. You would need to test your water very often.
    46 gal fw tank with black skirt tetras, neon tetras, spotted cory catfish, cherry barbs, guppies, snails & 4 amano shrimp - plastic & live plants
    5 gal QT with green corys & 2 guppies
