I did a 75 percent wc (or at least 2/3 of the tank at the very least) due to the fact that NitrItes were at .5 today. I wasn't going to take any chances.
I'm confused = wasn't this tank cycled at one time? But earlier in the thread you mentioned ammonia reading .5 and in this post you say nitrites are .5 which tells me that if it was cycled, it's not any more.
It's good that you did the large W/C and I know you'll keep monitoring and not let either ammonia or nitrites get above .25 again but it's troubling that you appear to have lost your cycle.
Is this the tank you were over cleaning? Or is there something else going on here? Again, you have so many threads on these tanks that it's difficult to determine which tank is which at this point.
