All 4 shrimp have successfully molted! I bought another desk lamp... the plants seem to like the extra light, and the whole tank is lit evenly. Yay!

I'VE GOT BERRIES!!!!!! Well, actually, one of my shrimp does... YAY!! She didn't want her picture taken... took me long enough just to get a good enough look at her to be sure.
Is there anything specific I should do to be ready for the little guys?

I'm pretty sure that as long as you don't have an overbearing filter, they'll take well to the peaceful tank. You have a sponge filter, right?

Yup... sponge filter. Nice gentle flow.
What about food? Tank is fairly new... should I be worried about there not being enough stuff in there for the babies to eat?

Sounds to me like you're ready. You could add some veggies if you want. If you don't have a lot of algae, or it's picked clean, you might want to supplement, since a starving shrimp will become an opportunistic shrimp and might eat the juvies. Just keep everyone well fed - you don't need to do anything special for the babes. Oh, and congrats! =]

Thanks! I've got algae wafers that I'm using for food now, and I will try to find some actual shrimp food as well.
I appreciate your advice!
