    That anubias is a pretty awesome plant. I just put it in yesterday and it's already starting to grab onto the driftwood!

    Well... I'm not trying to grow algae... but I wouldn't freak out if I end up with some...

    You probably have some in there, but you can't see it. Small algae eaters will be able to pick up on it and will consume it all day. My Otos used to find stuff I never saw on the sides of the tank. Shrimp are probably more akin to doing that, since they're so small.
