Green Sev - white spots on fins. not ich??

I'm glad the spots are finally gone, but you need to continue full treatment for about a week after you see the last spot disappear. So if today is the first day you didn't see any spots, continue treatment for about 7 more days more days.

Ah - okay. Most have said 4 days after the last spot but I have no problem extending it to 7 as the fish all seem to be doing well.
Would you replace the salt I'm going to lose when I do a W/C tomorrow as well? Or just continue with the heat?

Continuing the treatment would mean continuing the salt. That article says for three days later and I have seen it recommended up to 10 days and everything in between. Personally I would keep the treatment going for 7 days, then start to take the salt out with water changes. This is the second time in a very short time that you have had to deal with ich and I wouldn't take any chances.

Thanks lady hobbs. I've read and reread that article and may others until my eye balls are bleeding. My take away is that there slightly different approaches and theories regarding ich. BUT, most agree - salt and heat and a 4 - 10 day extended period to make sure it's gone.
That's the route I'm taking.. thanks!!

Just a quick thanks to everyone who weighed in and helped me through the ich attack in my 90. Tuesday (this is Thursday) marked the 7th day with 0 spots so I've been slowly lowering the temp and making pwc's to reduce the salt in the water. Also posted a longer version of this on my journal but all fish are fine. Snails are also back in the tank as of this afternoon and are already on the move so all is good there.

Tanks were well looked after thanks. All fish seem ok. The only mistake I made was to underfeed a bit too much as they have demolished one variety of plant in the tank and eaten down two amazon sword leaves. They must have been desperate! I've let them pig out now I'm back.
