cichlids209 135 Gallon !! :)

So the 125 I was gonna get fell thru so I was gonna just go to petsmart and buy the 75 gallon for 199 on sale . Luckily I called one of my favorite LFS although not close about 40 mins away i called and asked if they had any 75 gallons in stock and how much they were . they said they had one and it was 99.99 !! WHAT must be a mistake ? but no it was the right price and they had 135 gallons for 199.99 which is the same price petsmart was wanting for a 75 gallon on sale ! So I am getting a 135 gallon brand new for 199 !!! OMG

sweet ... I'm so happy and will be picking it up on Monday So I am starting a tank journal this tank will not be set up right away but rather getting everything in a slow but steady pace i hope by my birthday i can have it up and running .

thank you , Well right now it will just be my red devil not sure if i will try to put another fish in there just yet will have to think it over real hard

If you do go red devil, it would be hard to stick other cichlids near the same size. They tend to like to be the dominant fish in the tank, if not the only fish.

true well i know for sure my red devil will be going in there i have him in a 55 gallon right now . But im not sure i think mine is a wuss because i threw a nightcrawler in there for him to eat and he ran and hid till i took the worm out of the tank . but with glass between us he is a lil monster attacking and chasing me lol

I've seen oscars and black nasties run from an earthworm. The true test is having another fish in the bigger tank with it.

Plans for the tank will be as followed how does this sound everyone

filtration will be 2 aquaclear 110's and a fx5

heating will be 2 aqueon pro 200 watts

lighting will be 2 36 inch beamswork LED's Or i might just try out my 48 inch led on it see how it looks ..

i think that will cover the essentials any other suggestions or thoughts ?
