floating plants to lower my light

LH posted a thread for me with a great pic of this plant after a discussion about it this past summer.

That's quite a pic! What a great hiding place those roots would make for my tiny glofish and minnows in my 65. I'll see if my LFS(s) have any of this or can get it for me.

So... About those RRF.....

Is it HOB or canister? Can you raise the waterlevel to put the HOB output underwater or adjust the canister? Possibly situate the plants at the opposite/calmer end. Any and all will help a bit.

hob, will be an ac 70 on my 55g i think solo not too concerned about the current im sure ill be able to fix it as see fit. also going with the water lettuce as it looks cheaper, i like the looks (like the rrf a bit better but maybe those will be my next step). thanks for all the advice, i might do half the tank heavy covered with lower light plants under it (with caves and the such) and the other side ill try to keep thinned down for the med light plants

A sandwhich bag of frogbit or water lettuce is worth maybe a $1-2 in my local fish club. If you have a club near you should be able to pick it up for very little.
