    If it's not braced the tank itself is worth maybe $75. It will bow out and eventually fail. Most decent acrylic tanks have a flange all around the top. A piece that is bonded to all 4 sides and this section has a brace that goes from front to rear. If it is just straight edges that is a weak design that will flex quite a bit. Flexing equates to stress in acrylic and eventually the material around the joints will fail.

    Looks braced to me - look carefully at the top edge... you can see the seam and the transition to the center brace
