phongnguyen123: I just notice you are making a lot of posts just a few mintues apart. Did you know that you can edit / add / change any if your posts up to 15 minutes after creating the post? You can aviod a lot of double posting that way and make it a little easier to read through your thread

This is a good start, and you have corrected some of the issues. But, unless you deal with the incompatible stocking you will have more problems and they will become more severe. I understand money issues, perhaps re-homing a few fish is what is needed until you can get that bigger tank. I would also suggest getting a tank bigger than 250 gallons. That aro of yours will need it when he starts to reach adult size.

Yeah i could find a bigger tank i have a budget of 500. just looking right now for something nice and suitable. when i upgrade i will be moving all my fish in the 55 gallon into the 125. but i dont think i can get anything over 300 gallons. thats probably simply impossible for me since im not looking to get anything that big.

Have you tried craigslist or kijiji? People find some pretty good deals on used tanks.

Yes i am on kijiji right now as we speak been going on for 2 weeks trying to find the best deal. i know it takes time to find a good deal, shouldn't rush into it. i bought my 55 gallon marineland bowfront with a stand and hood and lights, sand, debo canister filter, heater, fake plants and decorations on kijiji for $100 just tryina find a good deal for a 250+ gallon

I have tried craigslist once but didint like it. I just didint like it cuz probably too used to kijiji. Not reallly sure how craiglist works

Keep in contact with the local aquarium clubs in your area. These guys are always buying and selling tanks as well as fish. You might get lucky and find the tank you are looking for at a great price

i have never heard of this combination of fish in the same tank before, im surprised you arent posting on here all the time, there must be a catalogue of problems happening with your tank, ive kept goldfish for over 40 years and never noticed nodules around a fishes mouth when spawning, around the gills and the front of pectorals is common, my best guess without seeing pics is either fungus but that is normally `hairy` or lumpy which would indicate ulcers or tumours, i look forward to what the experts say about this tank, i personally am baffled by it
