@Angelfish & Tiari - I'm jealous of you two. I've never even seen a halfmoon except in pictures, and BethyMT wouldn't send me one of her giant HMPK

Cyberra - touche! And ouch! It's not wouldn't, it's couldn't! Since the poor darlings barely got to their US homes in time, IDK what would even happen to one going to canada! I'm so sorry though. Forgive me??
Anyway, on topic....my HMPKS are really beautiful, the male I have is just stunning. And, to make it better, his fins are short enough to not cause a whole lot of mobility problems. I admit that I don't like the females as much.
I also agree with whoever said that the most attractive bettas are the ones that have never been in one of those terrible cups. They're just so easy when they are healthy when you get them.

Hands down!
Gas mileage isn't everything OIIIIIIIO
Lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part.
Why pretend there are no stupid questions? Actually, There are many stupid questions: "Should I drink this bleach?" Is just one example.
Having said that, Just because it's a stupid question doesn't mean that it shouldn't be asked. It's better to know.
A warm beer is better than a cold beer. Because nothing is better than a cold beer, and a warm beer is better than nothing.

I only have one right now and he is a plain splendens. It are colors that I like, he has a blue body and his fins are red and pink.
Today he is getting a major upgrade too, going from his ten gallon tank to a 30 gallon long tank.

I love a nice looking Halfmoon... but they can be so finnicky about water current/quality... hard to keep that lovely tail looking lovely!
I personally prefer the spunky personality most plakats have. My favorite bettas would have to be Halfmoon Plakats (dragon). I do love a nice crowntail, though. The CT in my avatar was my favorite betta ever. I've found crowntails to be the most aggressive.... always willing to offer a nice flarey face. :)
