posting photos question

I notice that when photos are included in a post, some show up as images in the post and others(including mine) just appear as little links to click on that lead to the photo. could anyone tell me the secret of how to have an attached photo simply appear on the post and not as a thumbnail or that you have to click to access it?

To add a photo into a post you need to use the IMG tag which works like an on and off switch at both ends of your photo link.

To open (turn on)the tag put IMG between two Square brackets [ ]

Then put your link to the picture

Then use the close tab of /IMG in square brackets [ ] (turn off)

So the section of your post will read:

Code:

 [IMG] LINK TO PHOTO [/IMG]

With photobucket all you have to do is post the image link in your post and it will appear as a picture and not a thumbnail. There is also a small icon

over the typing area when you reply to a post, click on that and paste the url of the picture you want to show and it will appear as a picture and not a thumbnail.

There are two ways to post images here, one by using a photo bucket account, an one by up-loading them directly to this site and insert them into a thread. The below thread can help with posting pics from a photobucket account
