Use the application in my signature (aqadvisor) for stocking those fish - hundreds of species are in its list; this will also provide info on water changes for your given filtration (it has hundreds of filter types.)
Knowledge is fun(damental)
A 75 gal with eight Discus, fake plants, and a lot of wood also with sand substrate. Clean up crew is fifteen Sterba's Corys. Filters: canister w/UV, in-tank algae scrubber that removes phosphates and nitrates! Also, a highly dangerous commercial nitrate removal unit from hell

Aquadvisor is really not a great option. There is far too much information needed to include in one program for stocking a tank. It would be far better to ask here and listen to what experienced people tell you.
If it's called tourist season why can't I shoot them?
Brutal honesty will be shown on this screen.
I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.
Tolerance is a great thing to have, so is the ability to shut up.

That's what i'm doing mommy1. From what i'm seeing on google the gold white tetra is actually the gold form of the white cloud minnow. max growth is to 1.5 inches at maturity compatability is A/B.
otocats are also A/B.
I'm trying to see that if my ammo issue resolves itself would this tetra be okay in the tank with the 3 oto cats and assassin snail. I'm thinking of a school of 6-8 for the tank if AND ONLY IF the ammo reading resolves itself in the oto 10gallon tank..6 gal column- 1 powder blue dwarf gourami, 1 bronze cory, and one nerite snail, planted.

What's your ammo reading now? It won't resolve itself unless you assist the fish in cycle you are now faced with. Protect your Otos by doing water changes to keep it under 0.25

It was .5 last night...commencing water change.
edit - just checked the ammo reading before doing a WC. It's dropped to .25 as of this morning. So i don't believe a water change is needed at this time.Last edited by Shidohari; 12-29-2012 at 01:11 PM.
