Default Question about venting peacock fry

What's the earliest age you can vent peacocks? I have plenty of them that are so borderline... and I have a demand for them in a few stores and don't want to disappoint.
    Coastie-to-be... hopefully.

I dont have experience with peacocks but I vented my Honduran red points at 2in with a 90% success rate.

It's a half male half female deal. I am saving the best 3 males and 3 best females for my local guy the rest are going to the out of towners.
    Coastie-to-be... hopefully.

Just for my own curiosity - what is venting? Removing fish from a parent fish?
