    Source water is fine...PH is a bit high (can't think of the exact #, but it's very blue) I thought it was high b/c ammonia is high...

    So Taurus...only Prime with water changes...and stop adding Cycle and ammo Block? Daily PWC? Maybe 40%?

    Yes, that's what I would do. Just use Prime because ammonium will still promote growth of bacteria that you need in your filter.

    ok... been just using prime with daily water changes the past 3 days and have lost 2 fish! Had no losses before this! What is happening?!

    Also, how much water have you been changing and how often, and how much prime have you been using with each waterchange
    If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

    Just completed a water change 5 mins ago when I noticed the 2nd dead fish. I I tested the water right now, I don't think it would be accurate(?)

    Ugh....so sad right now.

    my tank is 44 gal, so I've been adding 1 capful (50 gal dose) with each 40% change every day....
