    New videos:

BN2 enjoying himself on a leaf. Lately, he has started resting on this particular leaf. BN1 has been camera shy. I think it's all those new bristles - you know how men are when they are trying to grow a mustache...........

BN2, his OMG green (broccoli) belly and some tank activity. He takes a swim at about 41 seconds in and is quite the little ham when I get out the camera.

Thanks. The BNs are my favorite fish. I really enjoy my tank - it's very active and interesting to watch. I think my fish are quite beautiful. My aquascaping is completely different from what I had originally planned. I still have a cool piece of driftwood to put in as soon as I figure out how to keep it down (mine won't ever sink). I need to find a stainless steel rod, about a foot long, to insert thru it and then put a rock on each side to hold it in place.

My stocking is complete. The danios were an unexpected addition, but the long-fins are quite pretty and I'm glad I added them.

One more video of the whole tank:

Thanks. I finally have my dGH where it needs to be and have a stable, buffered pH. I do my vacuuming and 33% PWC every week without fail, especially as I want that little danio to grow back his tail.

I am really pleased with the school of danios. They leave the other fish alone and just hassle each other! Hallelujah!!!

I think this weekend I will get 1 more scissortail for a total of 6, which is the recommended minimum school size on several forums (including seriouslyfish). I LOVE my scissortails - they are an elegant fish with an extremely peaceful demeanor. When my 2 danio survivors were being real PITAs, the scissortails didn't care and just went about their business.

Your scissortail's always bring back memories of my childhood as they were the first tropical dish I ever kept.

Thanks. I think both of my BNs are very good looking. I can't believe how much they have grown since I got them in February. BN1 is a bit larger (& longer) than BN2 and is growing more face bristles. I think I will need to name "him" soon! BN2 is growing only lip bristles at this time - maybe a female? Better name her, too. They are out and about all the time, not shy at all. Sometimes when I get too close to the glass with my camera, BN2 flashes at me - she has very nice fins!!! I will have to pay attention when they eat watermelon, if their bellies are red. They're usually "broccoli green"!

    Here are 2 new videos:

BN1 is on the glass and BN2 is on the leaf. You can really see BN1s emerging bristles. BN2 has little lip bristles.
