2 Leopard geckos tank size?
currently i have a single leo who has been alone in a tank for a year. a friend is moving to arizona and asked me to take care of hers for the next 4 years. if i were to combine the 2 in a single setup (hers is a few months younger and i will be getting them professional sexed to be 100% accurate. if not compatible it won't happen.)
what size tank will i need minimum?
i currently have a 20gallon long that has been made double tiered with 5 hides. 1 is moist and 1 is a hot.
online a lot says this is the minimum but i'm not so sure. so i'd like a minimum for experienced owners. i feel the 20 is barely good for my single. so he's allowed out often.
her's is in a 10 gallon reptile cage.artist page: http://metal-otaku.deviantart.com

tank for leos
The bigger the better. I had 2 female leos (sisters) in a 50 gallon tank (4 feet long). They loved being able to run. There was plenty of "breathing room" for each leo. When they wanted to be alone, they could go to separate sides of the tank.
At one point I had to move them to a smaller tank and they didn't move as much.
Remember: In the wild, leos live in deserts... lots of open space.
PS. I love the setup you have in the 20 gallon... 2 tiered... cool.
I used to let mine out also... they loved the freedom.
