I think that's what I was told. Well I currently have 6 Cory's and a friend of mine is switching his aquarium to saltwater. He wants to give me this catfish. It's about two and a half inches long now. Will it get along with my others and will I need to get a few more for it to be with it's own species.

S. decorus are a mid-size species, adult size is around 10". They are social fish, best kept in groups, but few people have tanks large enough and suitably stocked to keep a group properly.

Yeah I don't have enough room for a group of these.
